Who are we?

Empirical Mind is a digital delivery consultancy company created by me, Murilo Lessa.

I have a strong software background, having worked as a software engineer for well over a decade before switching to focusing full time in being a Scrum Master and supporting teams in digital delivery.

I have facilitated and supported several teams in both public and private sector under the titles of Scrum Master, Delivery Manager and Agile Coach. I have worked in all kinds of projects, from manufacturing to security, from payments to education.

Government expertise

We are experts in Digital by Default, having facilitated the delivery of several projects within the GDS framework in Discovery, Alpha and Beta phases for several departments such as the Government Digital Services (GDS), the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and Department for Education (DfE).
